2005-04-07 - 11:16 p.m. I just ate pure caramel out of the jar with a spoon. I'm not ashamed!! It's all that's left of this Snickers spread stuff that's a mix of chocolate, peanut, and caramel. I recommend it. On bread, with a spoon, or with your fingers like an ANIMAL. ROWR. So spring has sprung. My roomate Melissa and I celebrate it by sitting on our beds which are each next to a now-open window, enjoying the breeze, and laughing at people outside. Today in the break between two of my classes, I got food, went to the library and got a book, and sat on a bench and did typical college kid thing. And who should sit next to me on this random, isolated bench but this guy I sort of had a crush on from my German class like a year and a half ago. He too ate and read the newspaper. It would have been the perfect opportunity to say something, but of course I didn't. Actually, I got up and left. And that's why I have so many boyfriends, folks. Nah, I tell myself it's okay because he grew his hair out all long and hippie-like anyway. Ugh, today I had a quiz in math and I didn't know a single thing. I couldn't even guess. I handed in a blank quiz. I haven't done that since Dr. Maguire's history class in 11th grade. I remember we had to do the quiz on our own notebook paper, so I just handed in a blank peice of paper with my name on it, and someone who needed a second piece of paper for his lengthy answers (bastard) thought it was a blank piece of paper and wrote his answers on the side without my name. When he got it back and saw my name on it and showed it to me, I remember I got this incredible laughing fit. The type that like rumbles through your stomach and falls out of your mouth. It was just hilarious. To have failed to such a high extreme. Anyway, it's not that bad because this is the first math quiz I bombed. But I also left class afterwards cause I felt pretty sick, and I've had more absences than I really should have. But I'll be okay. It just sucked because I've been doing well in that class, but lately stopped paying attention. Dang.
